1960 LES PAUL
A beautiful 1960 Les Paul Sunburst. White PAF's with a narrow highly flamed top. I've owned this guitar for almost 30 years. It has shared the stage with many famous artists and has been used on many recordings. Named Alberta after the late Albert King It has outstanding tone and sustain. I've owned quite a few and this one always rose to the top. It came to me with a Bigsby tailpiece. At present the tailpiece is off and it has the original stop tailpiece on it. I also have the original knobs and case. It is sporting Grover gears. Original Case has some stickers on it but is all there. There is wear on the back of the body and the back of the neck. Alberta can be seen on page 97 of the 7th String Press book, "Burst" Known affectionately as the 7 come 11 guitar because of it's dice knobs. The serial numbers puts it an early 1960. It has a thicker neck somewhat like a '59 and not the later slim 60 neck. Very playable! Ace Frehley's sunburst recently went for $150,000.00 and this is every bit as nice. The curl is tighter on this guitar which I personally prefer. It has a nice ice tea color now. For sale $125,000.00 or BEST OFFER! Terms - cash in person. 215-257-1006...SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!
